Are you accepting new clients?
Absolutely! We’re always accepting new clients! We do currently have a growing waitlist, however, and we schedule based on a first-come, first-served basis, so book your consult call today to reserve your spot!
How much does each session cost?
We currently charge $250 per session. But we prefer to think of this as an investment in your child, your family, and your future, not a cost. If you want cheap, we’re certainly not it. If you want quality service and incredible results, you ‘re probably in the right place. That being said, we understand not everyone is able to afford our service. We recommend checking with Addictions and Mental Health, your child’s school’s designated Family School Liaison Worker, Bridges Family Programs, or Children’s Allied Health for access to free mental health services and parent education programs.
How many sessions does it usually take?
Most children and families require approximately 20 sessions to achieve their desired outcome. That being said, the number of sessions required varies depending on where you’re currently at, what service you require, your goals, and how much or little you utilize the skills between sessions.
You didn’t get here overnight, and we won’t pretend you can change things that quickly either. We don’t believe in surface-level tactics or quick fixes. Instead, we go deep to help you create lasting change for you, your child, and your family.
The truth is, kids with big feelings and behaviours have learned those responses over time, and it takes time to unlearn old response patterns and relearn new, more adaptive ones.

Are your services covered by insurance/benefits?
All of our counselling & consulting services are provided by licensed and registered clinicians, and are claimable. However, we don’t do direct billing.
You are required to pay in full for services the same day they are provided, and you can submit your receipts to your insurance or benefits provider for reimbursement.
We encourage you to contact your insurance provider before getting started to get accurate and personal information on your insurance or benefits policies and coverage, so you can make an informed decision before beginning the counselling or consulting process.
Our online courses and classroom are purely informational in nature and, as with any other professional education or training workshop, speaker, course, seminar, conference, or online program, they are not a mental health service and are not covered by insurance or benefits providers.
Do you accept FSCD clients?
Absolutely! We do have a current vendor agreement with FSCD, and do provide direct billing for FSCD clients, provided we have a current agreement on file.
Our standard counselling and consulting rates apply. Parents are responsible for directly paying the portion above that which is covered by FSCD the same day service is provided, and for any service fees not covered by FSCD for any reason.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We currently have a 48-hour cancellation policy in effect. You’ll know your appointment schedule at the outset of therapy, so you can plan ahead well in advance if you have upcoming conflicts in schedules and are unable to attend.
Missed or late cancelled appointments will be charged the full session fee, except in cases of illness or emergency.
